I like it too Paul, it’s been nicely put together even if it’s not everymans style. With short legs and a long and often grumpy back I’ve just bought this as an experiment in comfort.

As I said to one of my mates who sent me the picture a while back, the Laverda 'cruiser' is an artistic juxtaposition of redundancy an inadequacy. The redundancy being two filler caps, and the inadequacy being no instruments.

I remember Marcel’s triple, fitting the ape hangers enabled him to keep riding which is better in my eyes than having a catalogue correct bike for display. And yes I’m proud to be grumpy.

at one Amicale meeting, he was telling me how he rides the bike with the end of the handlbars in his palm, because they were noit long enough, I was going to extend them for him, but his demise came first. Now that man did have a while extra long shed full of Laverda's and spoares, Zanes as well, I wonder where that all went.

I know John Blundell bought his drummer, because I collected it after delivering a car to France, but he was still with us at that time.
