Bol d`Or 1973 at Le Mans .......... 9th place 750 Laverda was , I believe , a mix of `72 frame and `73 engine , except the `73 engine had a dynamo instead of the crank mounted generator ....... Segoni framed 750 in 23rd place ( it says here .... ) ......

I take it those are both the relevant `73 Bold`Or bikes ? ........ that`s wonderful ! .........
BTW I mentioned " so it says here " referencing 23rd place for the Segoni in the report , as it mentions 26th place in yours and Tim`s book ........ just happened to notice when looking at your book for back-up info .....! .......

That frame spent 20 years in my attic. I gave it to a friend who put it to good use.
It was come upon in a breakers by the man who sold me my Electronica.

They indeed finished 23rd.
You’re the first to notice this error, 28 years after the book was printed!

Biggest issue with the Segoni during the race was a dissolving fibreglass tank, causing the taps and carbs to clog up time and time again..

30th September 1973 , and it`s the Thruxton International 500 mile Grand Prix ........ Pete Davies and Lyle Govan in 14th place ..... just ahead of R Keating and Graham Bentman ( who features in an article by his son Jonathan Bentman in the current issue of Classic bike , incidentally .......) .....

Other well known names ...... Mick Chatterton ; Peter McKinley ; Bernie Tolman ; Roger Nicholls ; Clive Horton ; Martin Sharpe ; Ray Knight ; John Cowie , amongst many others .......
