Not really a job that can be done without special equipment. Though I must admit that we may have gone a bit overboard with the fixtures that we have made. After we came up with this design and finished building the fixture we happened to find a sequence of photos on JLO’s (Jean-Louis Olive's) Laverdamania site that shows how to press a crankshaft back together with basic V-Blocks and a decent press.
