120 ignition risistors?

Just wondering if the resistors above the coils are require on a 120 engine with standard coils and Moto Witt II ignition.
Seem to remember reading a post that people have taken them out.
Any thoughts?

I have a 120, standard cream coloured coils + Witt II
No Resistors.

They are wrapped up with the standard ignition package - ready for the big day when I get tired of smooth running.

I was advised to take them out when I fitted my Witt DMC and I did that. If you need a wiring diagram and some tips, I can forward them.  I'm currently replacing the standard cream coils with pre-VTEC Honda VFR units as they are apparently better. Loads on Fleabay.

Do yourself a favour and as a knowlegable man once said to me file them in your rubbish bin, even with the standard ignition you do not need them!

The resistors NEED to be removed when fitting the DMC ignition system, rtfm........
