Well, my Jota is registered.. I've taken it for a brave long ride. Not 100% yet but it's pretty damn nice and sounds great. I've a new task list for January.

I'm surprised how well the thing rides. Contrary to everything I've read (and expected) it's light and agile - more so than beemers I've riding for years.

One thing that has shown up: the speedo is defunct (cable seems okay). Last time I had a speedo repaired the cost was best part of $1000, so it's not top of the list this time of the year. Legal question: What should the tacho report at 100kph?
Also, are there tricks to shimming the neutral light switch?
Merry Christmas everyone
Chris

Chris ,you have found the key to making a Laverda easy to ride on a daily basis,a wider and higher handlebar position, all the tests of these bikes say the same thing, top heavy and slow steering around town but wonderful at 100mph, it's just physics, low and narrow bars and you have no leverage, my SF2 and 3CL ride and handle fantastic, especially for being 40+ years old, Nice Lav by the way, enjoy it, Cheers and Merry Christmas,  Lee
