Maurice, I modified my fairing mount to a four bolt design. The problem with the original two is the bracket tends to fall off when the fairing is removed and hits the front mudguard.
I didn't know some had four as standard.
Nick, 8192 is indeed Deans Swiss engine.
I think we have been led down a blind alley with the engine numbers.
If you look at my link and photo's you will the 'bump' is actually inside the primary case on the 'non bump' engine.
The mystery is the common denominator with the design change.
