Nice spot. I was in that area yesterday - Paddled a kayak up the River from the Huonville boat ramp. Went about 6km upstream until the river narrowed and got shallower, so the current got a bit too strong to paddle against. The Huon Jet boat didn't have any trouble going further upstream over the rapids, but I think he had something of a horsepower advantage
