3C brake master cylinders ?

Hi does any one know if the very very late wire wheel 3Cs had the solid cast type master cylinders or did any have the ones with the plastic reservoirs ?

I had a plastic reservoir on my 3C number: 2088 from April 1975. I don`t think someone can tell you what`s original. I do not think it matters. 1975 is year they transferred to plastic ones. Solid ones are not easy to find now..

Hi I picked up a plastic one for my late 3c when it fell over and broke the one that was on it. but I can't remember what was on it originally and I have just picked up a solid one, so I will probably put it on my earlier one which is not too far from yours it is no 2121 .

My 76 3CL[3596] is solid,Pretty sure it is original. Was very lucky that a rebuild kit worked.

solid (fully cast ali) on handlebar
plastic reservoir on rear.

As far as I know, the plastic reservoirs came in 1978.

Then was the brake master on mine 3C no longer original!
