I have my 750 cylinders and pistons in at a machinists now, pistons not so good, bit of slop shin (0.8mm and 0.85) looks like I need to go oversize with the pistons, can I go out 1mm,(81mm) can they be bought through normal avenues(DAM ect)

Pretty sure Greg and Dam shop outta action for the next mnth.

Drop Red at Redax a line he will more than likely have some nice shiney slugs for you  8)
 
Yep, Greg's away till mid septemberish (check on DAM website) but he has nice slugs in 81mm, save you resleeving. Make sure you find a VERY trusted rebore engineer. they can be done badly and give you a crap motor.

Even if bores are passable, you often find the top ring lands are too wide (the up-down play of the top ring).
