I am preparing a whole new wiring loom for my 750SF3, what would be the recommendation for the size of Cable(amps) in particular

- From Batt + to the Starter Solenoid ( I have a Bosch Start Solenoid recommended previously from BMW K100 75amp)
- From Starter Solenoid to Starter Motor
- From the Dynamo to the Battery +.  ( I have a Solid state DVR4 Reg also recommended )

And any other useful cable capacities (amperage range)

It's all to do with minimising volt drop rather than current rating.
16mm2 for battery - solenoid - starter.  Also the earth return path from motor to battery. Although the starter relay is rated at 75A, that's allegedly a continuous rating - the starter motor will pull 150-200A depending on condition.

Dynamo to battery + I use 4mm2 thin wall but 3mm will do...and easier to find crimps that fit!

I've been using the DVR4 for a year now and it works very well, the charging light goes out at lower revs than before.
