You need massive carby jets for methanol. It burns at about 6:1 air-fuel ratio so uses fuel at twice the rate of petrol. Wouldn't be much use for an endurance race. You'd be stopping for fuel every half hour.
I guess you'd need something like a 250 main jet on Dellortos for a Lav triple. Dunno what needle and other jet numbers go up to but methanol has been around for a while so I presume suitable jets aren't hard to find for any brand of carb.
