Anyone know the dry weight of a standard 1200 mirage, cos i just weighed mine with two different scales and got the same results near enough and can't quite believe it.

Take it to a scrapyard, not only will they be able to tell you the weight, with this information they can tell you what its worth. :D

                                                                                                                                                      Dave

Pound a kilo.
My Corsa weighed 247kg wet, half tank of fuel when it got weighed as part of it's registration process recently.
I thought the 180 weighed less.

... the original 1200 owners manual says 247 kg dry weight. How much was yours?
Ciao, Gert

I have just weighed it again with another set of scales, Same result. keep in mind that there is very little weight left to put on, Cables, small battery, brake lines, front and back mudguard(carbon fibre), fork brace, speedo/rev counter (motogadget), headlight, which i recone is going to total up to around the ten to fifteen kilo mark. So.................curent weight 179kg, plus 15kg say, =194kg dry :o :o

Errrrrr. it would appear that i've built (ok, i use the "i've built" term very loosly) Quite a light Laverda. With still a bit more weight to par off! Whoop Whoop.

I weighed a basically stock 79 1200, came to 235kg. That was with a big Odyssey battery, oil etc, and half a tank of fuel or so (don't recall exactly how much sorry).

My 917SLC is 152kg including batteries and oil, no fuel.  :)

Seems to me Paders me old mucker you have shed about 40KG or 88lb in proper English so tell us the secret  ;) lots of polishing ? Helium in the tires ? Single speed gearbox ? or did you get it muddled up with a Ducati ?  :D
