Alpino Fork Tubes

Hi

Im currently looking to replace my chromed fork tubes for some new as mine have seemed to pit and damage over the years and I know there are chances of my forks leaking if this is the case. My bike is a 1980, any suggestions would be great.
 
Lee, I get my stanchions rechromed, as I have heard that new replicas are no of the same quality.
I use AM Philpot in Luton. Easy to deal with.

Hi Grant, rechroming was also an option so I have looked into this. I found a company on google http://www.brooksuspension.co.uk/motorcycle-fork-rechroming-service-for-stanchions-both-legs.html who offer the chroming for the pair for ?139 with a 2-3 weeks turn around. How much are Philpot? also what turn around? This company funnily enough also offers new tubes for the Laverda Alpino but I have called and they have advised me that the hard chrome is thicker and would be the best option.
 
Contact them and find out. Not sure if it depends on size or condition so can't say.
Certainly in the same ballpark, and top quality.
