....and it's missing the end cover, which renders the whole thing a little pointless.

Anyway. Scottoiler. Properly fitted and adjusted won't splash and will lubricate.

Sorry...I forgot to mention that DAM Racing is also an agent for GAZI suspension?. thought you were talking IKON.

Both are great products, personal choice as to your budget and what you'd like to fit to your bike.

Like I said earlier, persevere with your tech guy because they'll want you to be satisfied with your choice.

Regarding the clearance with the chain guard and Gazi piggy backs. On my 3C with vertical shocks, all that is required is a 2mm spacer between the swing arm mounting point and the bottom eye of the shock. However I can see on the forward leaning shocks there would be a major problem that would require a piece out of the chain guard, or moving the shock a long way out which would be ugly!

Greg T, where are you in NZ, which is your GS1000 postie racer? I run a Suzuki GSX400(600cc) in pre 82, Junior, took to Eastern Creek in March. Plus a 350 Morin and a 500 Seeley Weslake

yea, i was the bloke having da big drool & salivating all over ya Seeley Weslake.  it really does it for me !!  (thumbup)
so, i'm guessing we spoke last year at The Creek.  think i was asking about ya belt drive issues.
hope it's all hanging together for ya.

cheers,  mark

Hi Mark. Yep that's me! And yes I had primary belt issues that meeting, but changed belt make and been fine since. However had all shorts of issues with the motor, so we are re engineering it a bit, pistons, valves, roller cam followers that kept breaking and re porting the head. The inlet ports were a massive 36mm, I am guessing that Dave Nourish used the same head castings on the 500, as he did on the 750 and 900. So hopefully we will end up with a motor that should go and last as Weslake intended? Oh and we are re making the exhaust and I have a full fairing too, as you do!

To let you all know Gazi re valved the shocks, and turned them around in a week, which is pretty amazing. The bike feels much better now, only problem is I am now riding it faster, and so will have to do the forks next!  (Lavflag)
