Former Olympic snowboarder and big-time drug dealer, Ryan Wedding is believed to be the owner of a warehouse of motorcycles seized by Mexican authorities. I see several #46 bikes…..

What looks like Ducati MotoGP racebikes ridden by Andrea Dovisioso, Loris Capirossi, and Jorge Lorenzo, with a Marc Marquez Moto2 bike in the background. FBI photo.

Just looked him up .......... ( on Wiki I mean ..... don`t know him personally ) ........

Apparently ordered the murders of three possible witnesses , and is currently on the run in Mexico ...........

One report says the FBI know where he is , but are bigging the whole thing up media - wise , in order to create maximum publicity when they do go in to nab him ...........

Better Call Saul ............

2 trains of thought on the web, apparently he stole them with no one noticing, or he bought them with proceeds from crime. Who knows, but it's probably the bigest most significant collections of really, really expensive bikes in the world. How he got works Honda GP bikes? I thought Honda crushed most every year.

I’d kill three people for that lot…He will be piss easy to spot in Mexico, the only one in ski gear. Should be a good Auction!

Pretty sure he bought these bikes. He has a contact in Italy that deals in classic race bikes.

Is that a Supermono in the foreground?

Referring to Alzero's original post, the foreground bike in the top photo (#99) appears to be Jorge Lorenzo's MotoGP bike when he was riding for Ducati in 2018.

Or do you mean the one in the large photo at the bottom? That one is an NCR 860 Bevel L-twin?

The Supermono was basically a modified belt drive L-twin. They kept the front cylinder and did away with the rear cylinder, replacing the rear piston with a balancing link rod. It had a trellis type frame.

The NCR860 in Alzero's picture is the same as the 3 bikes that Steve Wynne prepared (and heavily modified) for the IOM Formula 1 TT in 1978, one of which Mike Hailwood rode to his famous comeback victory.

I visited the Ducati factory in 2003 with a mate and we had the pleasure of chance meeting with Steve Wynne while there. Blimey, it doesn't seem like 23 years ago. It was an unofficial visit by him so we had no idea he was going to be there. He's a very nice chap, and was pleased to hear that I own a MHR (although I don't think he ever got any royalties from the factory for them cashing in on Mike's victory!). We chatted about bikes for a while and he allowed me to take a selfie with him. Buggered if I know where that photo is now. I think it was taken on a film camera, so it would be a print photo stored away in a box somewhere.
