Nice job Joe,

* It will come pre-charged - but top it up over 12-24 hours.
* No need to trickle - why take the risk when it is perfectly happy without it. To the point > DON'T trickle.
* In the house is better than in a cold garage. But ignore the old 'keep it in the warm airing cupboard' adage. Just normal room temp is perfect.

PC680 are half the depth of a standard, so you next job is to make a nice little tool rack (or sarnie box) for the extra storage space you now have.

If you have bought the MJ metal jacket version, note that the MJ is held on by just a few blobs if silicon and can be removed. I run mine without the MJ.

Rubber mount the baby.

Hi Paul, It's non metal jacket...Came fully charged..I fitted it ( although I will spend some further time in the housing area to support it properly ).

I started the bike ..boy it really cranks over now and started first time ..I was as pleased as punch !

I then disconnected the battery earth and put the charger on...A Swedish jobby I bought with the battery ... It went to fully charged in five minutes ..I disconnected the charger and that is it really....I'l store the bike in the garage over winter.

I put fuel stabil in the tank...drained the carbs..and sprayed the bowls, jets with maintenance spray ( very very light oil ).
