Hi,
The spokes looked a bit odd on the rear wheel of my 1974 GT.
Upon closer inspection, the Borrani rim was marked 4863 and has a deep square section channel in the centre for the rim dimples.
The spokes are a bit twisted from lacing in the wrong sequence but the drill angles look good for the twin leading rear drum.
However, this extra deep centre channelled rim looks much stronger than the regular flanged type.
Anybody know what bike this rim was originally used on ? I can't find any reference on this site.
