Brake disc question - non Laverda

I'm currently working on a Guzzi V35 Imola II.
Neither handbook nor Guzzi dealers can tell me, what the minimum
thickness of the discs should be.
So, if a new one measures 5,85mm - 6mm, what do you reckon
to be the minimum?

Had a Google around for you; from the websites I've just looked at, the stated wear limit is 5.8mm, with a new disc being 6.0mm.
I'm guessing that 5.0mm might be a realistic minimum before you start to see warp??
Depends on use I guess?
How bad are yours?

My local MOT man regularly sees kids twist n go 'peds where the pad is worn away to the caliper piston; unreal  !!

Hi, Steve.
Fortunately it's not my bike. The owner had it tarped
outside for years and rust never sleeps.
The reason I asked for minimum thickness is that I'm
thinking of buying used discs to cut down costs.
Won't do this of course without being sure that they
are on the good side.
