Brake hoses

I have a set of RGA bars that I want to fit onto my RGS and it looks like the top brake hose from the master cylinder to the brake splitter might be to short so could anyone who has this set up or who has a RGA tell me what length this upper hose is as I would like to get it made up before I start pulling things apart.

While I'm at it I also need to get brake hoses made up for a 750 SF2, is it better to have swivel or fixed fittings, swivel I assume are easier to fit. This might seem a stupid question but I just want to get it right first time.
 
Easy enough to fit the RGA bar and make a good estimate of length required.
From memory it's around 1 to 2 inches longer.
 
I have a vaguelia recollection that the oringinal hoses on the RGA were 'straight' into the MC, whereas RGS ones were 90deg via a banjo fitting.  I'd have to dig out all my original parts to confirm, and am not 100% sure where everything is.  Hopefully some other RGA/Executive owner can confirm...

i think i have this set up on the Corsa - Grant can confirm-  not likely to get near it until the weekend though
