Bruehl-Frames

I found some more pictures of the spine frames!
Burkhardt already made a triple frame for a 180? engine.
The picture with the two twin frames shows my frame with the original main tube and below a version with a modified upper tube to accept the standard SF fuel tank. For some more informations you can contact me, as Burkhardt is a specialist in welding and constructing but not in Computing......

I like the look of that 180 frame. Any comments from anyone with knowledge of this set up on a triple?
I believe Egli only made one or two spine frames for triples. Is there a reason for this?
p.s. H-C thanks for posting the photos.

Would you have to drop the triple engine to adjust the valve clearances?
Or is there enough room to work on the top end?

You definitely have to drop the engine to work on the top end. The engine is mounted as high as possible to get maximum ground clearance.

Of course there is a Problem fixing the Valveclearance, but the main Problem (for me) would be the flat Steering Angle, it?s around 64?, makes a Performance like a Train...
Actually not Egli but Rau replica...

It can... However, on a standard twin front end, you are limited by the twisting fork, else the front tyre hits the Alternator.

For triple and spine frame, there are several limitations... Center carb hitting the spine tube, any work on top-end requires a drop of the engine, engine height is limited etc etc.

Space-frame for triples is the much better concept overall...
