I just compared my curved foot of the centre stand on my Cer equipped 3C to the one on your centre stand Cam. Yours is much longer, especially the rear bit of the curved foot. Mine is the same length or a bit less than the front half, yours appears to be twice as long as the front bit. I knew there was a difference in length of the whole stands between Cer and Maz bikes but the curved foot section appears very different as well.

Hey Vince. That stand on my bike has been modified several times, so don't go all rivet counter about it.

I think it's an original stand for a Ceriani equipped bike, so it's a little shorter than the Marzocchi version, although my bike now has Marzo forks.

You can see that I welded a "shoe" on the foot of the stand. The original foot of the stand was bent when I got the bike. Actually the whole stand was bent and twisted. I dunno what had happened to mess it up like that, but it needed some serious bashing back into shape. The foot looked a bit flimsy to me, and it needed a few mm extra height anyway, hence the shoe.

You may also have noticed that the cross-bar on the stand had a very deep U-shaped bent in it too. Someone did that to accommodate the fat 3-1 collector that was on the bike when I bought it. I got sick of it clouting kerbs and stuff, so some time after taking those photos I cut it off and made a much flatter cross bar that tucks in a lot closer to the new Redax 3-2 exhaust.
