I can see that my knowledge of the chains is very low, I bought new rear sprocket - 1024-40 and 424-15 front sprocket and chain, Regina ZPR 532.  Fits these parts together. The bike is a Montjuic 500. I bought the sprocket at Motalia UK.

Please be careful as the designation 532 is a weird size used for a very short time on some Jap bikes, I do not know for sure but I would think you need 530. The two are NOT interchangable due to differing roller diam.

Ole, OE fitment on a 500 was 5/8" x3/8" which as Andy says, is a 530. I'm sure the sprocket from Motalia will be an OE one for a 5/8" chain, so you probably need to be sourcing a new chain, which I'm sure Andy can help you with. On standard gearing 500s use 106 pitches.

Thanks. Don?t want to run on a wrong chain, to much power on a 500  :) The chain was very cheap so I could not resist buying it, one is always wiser afterwards.
