Clutch Squawk

Hi Guys:

1977 series one Jota.
I Installed new clutch plates and springs from Wolfgang a few thousand miles ago. The clutch was and still is a bit grabby when getting under way but works fine at all other times. I also noticed a bit of a squawk as well at the point of engagement. I thought it would go away with some miles but so far it hasn't It didn't do this before but the again the old plates were worn.

I removed the clutch cover for inspection and do not see any issues. Shift super all other times. (Right hand shift)
Chain seem to be adjusted OK, Primary tension seems OK as well.

I should mention I only replaced the friction plates as the steel plates looked good

Any Ideas?  Its rather irritating    :-[

Thanks,Dave

Mine did this. SKRRRRKKKKKKKK!!! on take up :o :D  Worn splines on the clutch drum. Dressed them but no joy.  A new (used) drum did the trick.  Mixing new and old plates will help until you find one.
