I have dynas directly mounted to the frame, should both ends be grounded or is one end sufficient?

Took it for a 10k run, seems a lot better but it did break down a little when I turned around, low rev range, then ran fine all the way home
 
Sounds more like carbs - running ok, then getting rich in the slowdown and cleaning up with more revs.
