Compression misadventure

congratulations, Xavier. Great it was a minor issue. Seams someone has forgotten to re-torque the head frequently after the restoration, eh?  ;)

Hi Lothar

Yes, you are right, I do not know what was made after the restoration of VanDijk, the historic of Van Dijk's invoices stop in 2006, when the motorcycle was sold in Belgium.

I made re-torque the cylinder head and fixations engine there is some time, and the cylinder head needed it...

Well, now I am going to verify the flatness of the mating surface of the cylinder head, the lign up of camshafts, etc., etc., and re-torque after 500 km, and so on

All of  this, brings me closer to the trip to SPA in good conditions. Finally ...

End of my misadventures

Grinding of the cylinder head (- 0.2 mm), valve grinding, carb adjustement, etc.

A small run of 45 km to try and control the functioning.

It works great!

Thank you all for giving me good advice
