Guys I am looking for the specs on the smaller of the two spring that goes in the Ceriani 38mm forks, valve spring?. I don't have one to measure. I need ID and OD and length. Anyone got one they can measure for me? (or two they'd like to sell )

#38 in this diagram

#22 in this diagram I believe but hey who knows!

Whatever fork you have most my friends report that a Variable Dampening Spring is the answer - And that report comes mostly from my Harley Friends.

There's a Hell of a lot of Harley's on the North Shore of the Great Lakes and all Harley riders dress up as Pirates - RLOF!.

Thought it was 23 on the second diagram?

Yes I think I?ve confused the sizes on the diagram which is probably not proportional. I have the top out spring but I need the small one that is part of the rebound valve setup.

The upper diagram #38 is correct.
The diagram #22 is misleading in the order of assembly of the damper valve. In this diagram the brass valve 23 and spring 34 should locate within the ring 18, above the lower 9. Ring 18 is a spacer between the two number nines and the valve and spring locate in that space.
Someone must have a set of Cerianis off a bike to check the spec of the spring for you Carlo. It is very thin wire of about three winds with little tension. A month ago I could have told you, when I changed seals in my road bike but it is all back together now.

Carlos, el Presidentay Chris has a spring maker about 3 doors down at his business address. No idea if he is still working or on holidays or if he can make such a small spring. Bet he can as he made some Starter Clutch springs in the past.

Maybe Red can get the measurements for the brass valve too and you can get one spun up.

I?ve already got a couple of those on the way, was just missing the spring.

I?d spoken to Chris already Vince and will get some made up when they reopen.
