DMC Tacho filter for veglia

Does anyone actually know what's inside the filter for the tacho on a DMC? Anyone got the circuit?

A single capacitor I guess.

I'm thinking it's got a resistor or inductor in series with it or it wouldn't have 3 wires.

Just FYI... my recently ordered DMC came with the filter. So, if you are ordering a DMC, you don't need to order one separately. Andrew

only if you tell it is an RGS I think, as SFC and 120? Jota do have mechanical tacho drive, which makes a filter unnecessary.

According to the writing inside the timing cover the DMC was installed in 1994 and still works fine

Yes...apologies ... I should have said if you order for an RGS. I ordered mine from Wolfgang and the filter was included in the kit when it arrived. I did not specifically ask for a filter.

I asked Wolfgang what was inside it and he said the same, dunno, ask Uwe.....
