hello guys, I'm new to the forum and I write from Italy . sorry for my English. I have a 1000 3C 1973 with ignition DMC . I now have a question for the most ' experts. I can not adjust the advance.
even though I moved the plate of the pickup to the maximum delay by measuring the strobe with the advance of the curve 1 the result is' always too early . you have  moto witt's email?
Thanks so much
Mauro

Do you have the rotor fitted the correct way round. At tdc the first of the two raised segments should be at 12 'o clock. Also check the polarity of your pick up wiring.

thanks guys. I wrote to motowitt, they say that the problem is the pickups. They said that in testing a new stator plate. They do not know the price. But there is another possibility? RedaxSaches provides just a plate and I can install with the ignition DMCII?
thanks

no, my system uses Hall Effect triggers and thus it will not work with a DMC unit, the DMC box will not understand the signal provided
you would need to buy the complete system from us which includes the charging system upgrade

I solved it! the Flywheel had a tooth for retaining one of the two lobes of the rotor. I cut the tooth and I fixed the rotor to the crankshaft with grub screw. It is now well in advance. The triple is going great!  :D :D :D

Well done joystick but beware...years ago I did the same thing and it worked great until the grub screw came loose and wrecked the pickups. Use loctite or something  ;)
