I love Dyna's Ignition Booster on Ducati singles and BMW airheads with points but haven't installed one on a bike with two sets of points. Any experience out there with this product on a Laverda?

Going to try it out. They turn the points into low amperage switch so, in theory, they last forever, stay consistent and if the Booster fails it's easily jumped out and you're back on the road with the OEM setup.

Not used the Dyna product, but used something similar many years ago. Actually a CDI unit I made myself from a kit. Seemed to work quite well and gave a very healthy spark.
Dyna's website says they do a two channel version for a double points setup, so you shouldn't have any problem.

The alternative is an aftermarket electronic ignition conversion which would eliminate the points and mechanical advance mechanism. But you wouldn't be able to revert to the original points ignition on the side of the road if the smoke escapes from the ignition module.

Not sure it's worth it. You should be able to get anywhere between 50 and 100 000 km from your points on the standard setup.
