Fairing Brackets

Is the SFC1000 and the RGS fairing bracket the same?

My question is related to making a jig here, got a Wolfy certified straight and braced SFC on its way, thanks Peter

Same ? or same but different

I think different due to Instrument mounting !
Not sure about the actual fairing mounts tho.

Be interestedto find out.

fuck you guys are wankers, ill wait till the sfc one gets here and compare it meself  :P

The reason i ask is because instead of sending them to Wolfy for rejigging we will make a jig here and do it ourselves

Pete sent his SFC one over to get straightened braced, so if they are the same configuration, mounting and ear spread then it should be fine

In any case we're gonna make one for the SFC, so if its the same we dont have to make 2

sometimes its better to remain quiet  :'(
 
Cosi if they are not the same and fuck me I cant remember either way for sure then if you need I can take the one off my Corsa and send it up for use as a template. This one is known good one why?? cause owned the bike since the get new and it aint ever been pranged.

Say just a thought might be an idea to make sure the small bracket which goes on the headstock is checked to as if this is not at the correct angle will affect also the way the fairing sits ( angle wise ).
 
Cosi, I think they are identical, with slight differences.

have to report that our RGS and CORSA are same but slightly different, so using the same engineered approach, the SFC would fit in quite well with different but same (maybe).
 
To the Cosmanaut
they are the same except for the ignition mounting bracket and the two mounting plates that hold the gauges in position, so a small adjustment and wallah!!! the same but different.
