Fitting YSS PD Fork Valves

Forks back on, not had chance to ride it yet, need to finish some wiring mods.

Feels a little soft, static sag is 26mm, loaded sag 51mm.

So static sag is not far off, probably need stiffer spring for loaded sag....problem is i have no idea what the current spring rate is.

There is a std spring rate in the green book, from memory its 1.2kg I think. What Racetech usually recommends is 0.9,and thats the max available. from ibock that will fit.Thats what I was told from the local Racetech rep,Terry Hays. Thats a bit light for my 130kgs but with none heavier. BTW do a search on my name and have a look at what I wrote re low speed damping holes in the Emulators, they need 2 of them and some come with only 1 hole drilled, there is provision for up to 4 of them if needed.

Hi all,
Anyone who has installed this in SFC1000
Is RT reference for emulators for M1R forks FEGV S4102 ?
The product search suggests it is, but the downloadable excel sheet does not list S4102 or 4102 at all,
Maybe I am just reading this wrong.... Would not be surprised  :(
Cheers,
Stuart

Haven't done that and I think it is a bit more complicate on the 1000 SFC due to the fact that one leg is for rebound and one is for compression damping...

I have had a shop modifying a SFC 1000 fork to a cartridge-System, which worked very, very well. Cost were around 700? though...  ::)
