Hi Gents,
Relatively new to forum, and just advise that it was me, being a newish owner of a 3CL, that asked Mike on ebay to make myself a Crankshaft sprocket locking tool. (Just noticed a separate thread on this)
Update, I also asked about making a Flywheel locking tool, which I sent dimensions etc. He has since made this up, and I sent him back pictures of how it fitted my bikes flywheel very well.
I have no connection with making them, it was just me who asked if it was possible to make a reasonably priced tool, and I think Mike did a great job off measurements I sent. A kind gent to make a sample for me. I am aware impact wrench can undo the nuts, but I wanted tools to hold securely for torqueing back up!, tight!, without stressing any other part.
Ebay - search "Laverda tool ".... Those are my pictures I sent him.
I hope this helps other owners out there?, and I got my jobs done okay and seemed all fine to me.
I hope to care for my Laverda for many years yet!.
Cheers, Nick
