Hey guys,

Found my Formula handle bar was loose at its MOT. Turns out whoever tightened it last over done it and snapped it. Luckilly I tighted what was left to get it through.
Anyone got any ideas what alternatives fit? Or maybe some one has a replacement they dont need. Its the throttle side thats gubbed.

Cheers

Cameron

You had better replace it pronto. If it snaps in use you could be in worse trouble than a failed MoT; surprised he passed it.
Perhaps someone can help you with a genuine one.
If you go aftermarket I know Renthal and Woodcraft do good gear but therer are lots of suppliers. Check out the variables; angle, offset, length etc because they makes a big difference.

Alan Bell's probably your best bet for a second hand one, Cameron. (01823) 444334.

Ciao

Oooo thats a shout Cyriel  :D Think I shall give them a browse and see what I can find for sensible money.

The bars secure for now or he wouldnt pass it. The guys at the mot station I use let you sort anything there and then if you can. Most places just fail it for silly things regardless of how easy it is to sort.

Managed to aquire Ducati grips on ebay and even got bar ends from the guy at work so its just a matter of sticking them on the bike. Cheers for that cyriel. Saves me doing research stuff they are ideal replacements :D
