fuel filler cap

😁per Lothar obviously remove the funnel when fuelling..but,er  remember to put it back?! Was out with Clem one time and forgot..next thing a spray of petrol is hitting me in the chest at 80mph..lovely.as not far from home couldnt be arsed to go back to the petrol station..had a spare at home.took a while for my leathers to lose the perfume! I had the shrinking hardening (!) version at one stage...those from Slaters seem immune. Even with them don't fill to the brim..and leave the cap open while you pay..the heat from the engine results in the level rising.

can imagine the situation, but have managed to always put it back before closing the tank filler cap... You recognize the difference in pushing it down, which reminds me always to put it back in...  ;)

I must talk to Wolfgang about this ..... from my experience ..... SF's, SFC's and Jota's don't piss any fuel under any circumstances. Could be I'm using the wrong fuel caps.
I'll have to see what happens with the 3C and the Formula when the time comes.

Thanks, Grant and Dave, I will have to sort this paint bubbling at some point, not looking forward to pulling the aircraft cap fixings out to access the breather inside tank fixing. Hope this breather sealing issues become well know. It's a bastard to fix years later.

Hi, ludi.
I've bought the large gasket as a spare part,
don't remember where, maybe OCT.
Try also Guzzi and Duc dealers. They all
had these filler caps (back in the days).

Ernesto
just found this, but should be available nearer.
