The long overdue job of getting the MK1 back on the road has officially begun.
Rear disc replaced.
Rear caliper overhauled.
Oil changed.
Horn replaced.
All lubed and cleaned up a bit, just need to save up for a decent battery, any recommendations? don't think the optimate is ever going to bring the old lead acid one back to life

they may have run out of the 7mm x 12mm but I just received 5m of the 7mm x 14mm and it should do the job with some of those nice S/Steel hose clips shown earlier (50p each from my local hydraulic supplier)

Does anyone in Australia have 1m of 7x12 available before I order from the UK?? I?d prefer the clear blue or green stuff.

Or can someone point me in the direction of an Ozzie supplier.
