Fuel tank sealer

I have used POR 15 for rust protection but never in a gas tank. I have used it on car parts. What I recall the most important step is the preperation.
 
I used it in my Jota tank 7 years ago . Its easy to do and it has done a great job I did take care to be absolutely sure to follow the instructions step by step .
I would certainly recommend using it.

Davo where are you located,if your in Sydney one of the CIMA blokes does tank lining,whats the drama with yours
 
Davo, mate did all his tanks with a aviation product that he brought from an outlet at Jandicot airport. If your interested I can find out the product name.
Used for airbraft tanks so would have to be the dogs bollocks I'd imagine

Vince, I am in Perth. The tank has been sitting for quite a number of years with the same fuel in it so you can imagine the stench when I finally lifted the lid, or maybe you can't. The tank is currently down the back of our block as far from the house as possible because of the smell, despite having been washed out with a strong detergent.

Rob, I am open to any info and would love to know the name of the product.
