Fuel Taps Question

When I moved to Spain I was amazed/astounded/horrified at the way things were done here.
Now, after living here for 13 years (gulp, where did time go?) I would find it very hard to move back to a less 'flexible' country (bureaucracy notwithstanding).
In 2001 it was either Spain or Switzerland. At the time I wanted Switzerland, but now I'm glad it was Spain.
 
Agreed. I was there yesterday driving through the Basque region, Cantabria and Asturias (in the pissing rain and fog).
I will try to get to Colombres next year for the rally in October. It's only about 1.5 hour drive from the Santander ferry so hopefully there will be quite a few Brits there.
We could make it the (unofficial) Laverda Spain rally.
 
I know  few Brits who regularly do it, on bikes like BSA A10, BSA gold star, Ariel square four etc and even one on a Heeley square four, they all say it is a realy great event, and that a lot of Brits go as well.

its a lovely idea Grant and one that I relish, what you don't know, is that I have recently been forced to start dialysis, this means (at the mo) three trips per week (Tues/Thurs/Sat) for four hours to dialyse at the clinic. I am the "newboy" so I get the slots that no one wants, but I will weedle a change to that after Christmas because I need to be away for Fri/Sat night twice in January and once in February. Longer trips can be arranged if pre planned and are not that difficult in the EU, but I can predict problems where you want to do something that is full on in daylight and twilight hours for four consecutive days. There is also a downside, which means that I am automatically removed from the transfer list for three months (something that I desire) if I dialyse outside the UK. Meaning that I might miss a good matched donor kidney.

Have friend who had one swapped out 12 months ago ................ better than ever now, and is 100% fit.

You'll be right, plenty of car crashes these days, piece of piss.
