I have just finished rewiring the RGA Jota and have put a dedicated feed to the relays for the headlights what rating fuse would be best for this job ?. Also am thinking of tyres and am looking at the conti go any suggestions

There's a gazillion tyre threads to read, just do a search for it. Try searching for BT45 and you'll find the threads.

As for the fuse, I have used either a 15A or 20A fuse for the headlight relay supply, maybe a bit more if you are running the 100/80W bulbs.

Nothing to do with fuses Dave, but just saw some original photos of brand new Sprints taken by Three Cross once they had converted the blue and orange RGAs that weren"t selling, .The colours were either black with gold wheels,or ferrari red with red wheels!,which was mine according to its history. Both bikes have Laverda in transfers on the tank and optimistically Jota on the side panels. The ugly full faired version was orange with black Jota and stripes on the fairing.
I prefer the Laverda badges on the tank and tail and RGA1000 on the side panels although its nearer a "Jota" than the originals with its high comp pistons, smooth bored carbs to 34mm,and 4C cams,so I would have more of a right to put it on. :D

As for tyres I have Conti Gos on my CMAs and find them excellent.

thanks for the replies most helpful , Shaun the only picture I have seen of the RGA jota is in the bible and its in black and white its also a full faired one ,hope to get my panels to the spray shop soon just need to clean out the tank after its been welded and put it in primer all other bodywork in primer just needs flatting off ,  will look into transfers etc soon. nearly all back together cant wait to fire it up again

Sounds very good progress Dave, most likely different colurs for full faired version but only the two black or red colours for the half faired versions, these were original Three Cross pics,so the camera doesnt lie :D

What colour are you going for?

I am keeping it orange (RAL 2004) with black badges ,I think it suits the bike, my one still has a three cross No plate on it ,as in three cross name and phone No on the bottom, about the only original No plate left  may be worth a few bob lol

Dave, Pirelli Sport Demons, way better than BT45s in the wet. Maybe don't quite last as long on hot dry roads like in Australia or southern US. But in Cornwall.... :D :D

Ken

Just fitted Sport Demons on the Le Mans - brilliant in the wet, yet to try them at the limit in the dry.
