handlebar shims?

Having taken off the Brevetatos,I ve got two tin cupped shims on the mounts,they fit well but don"t look standard,can t see them in Lav paradises book.Think Coca Cola paint wore off years ago

They are necessary for the brake and clutch M/C to clear the bolt-up joints of the handlebar.  Seems the factory wasn't aware of this short-coming at the time, they eventually came standard on the RGS models which had similar clearance issues.  Won't find it in the RGS parts list either... :

Should be made from 2mm alloy plate.

Yup, got them on my TS as well Shaun.

The shims became necessary with the switch to the plastic reservoir M/Cs, the slightly different base design of the all-metal M/Cs gave enough clearance without them.
