I believe some people reckon they can be made into quite good 'fool around' track/vintage race bikes ...  .  Well, at least they have the advantage of being cheap to start with ...

When you work it out you can also make some 200mm 3C headlight glass and retire in luxury.

3D printing & scanning not there yet. Few more years though...........should be doable if other applications justify the production of the filament.
