When I replace the broken fairing screen, small rollover heading home from Tassie, I want to fix a few issues I have found over the years. There is a thin rubber gasket between the headlight glass and the chrome ring.BTW this is a 3C and I think Bosch headlight Its been a while but its got a few nicks and tears in it, are these available separately. How many Z wires should there be holding the glass in and what is the spec of the instrument light globs, my Tacko is not lighting up.

Hi Vince,

The thin rubber gasket is available seperately.  You can fit up to 4-5 of the z-springs to hold the reflector in place, not sure how many were fitted originally.  Instrument globes are 12V 3.4W 8BA.  Please don't fit the more common 4W, they get too hot and can damage the rubber bulb holders and can melt the little coloured windows and dial face.

Thanks Piet that's good news, checked Andys catalogue and they are not listed. I will check with our local parts man for the next Wolfgang delivery.

Your too late, Wolfgang is on holidays now, we already placed and received the order before Christmas so youll have to wait till next order.

As with all old bike bits I am just happy you can still get it and there are blokes who still sell the bits.
