Help Identify This Seat

Dear All,

I bought this seat recently hoping it would fit my SF1. Sadly it does't as it is too long and the rear mounting brakets are way to wide. The distance between the brackets measures 22 cm.

Can anyone tell me the following:

1) What model Laverda does this seat fit?
2) Is the seat in demand as i might sell it?
3) I am thinking about modifying the brackets to make it fit but wonder is the seat pad and shape the same as a proper dual SF1 seat?

Thanks
Mike

Can you show us the underside?

Two minutes! Must be a record. One day Grant will respond to a for Sale item BEFORE it gets posted :D

Genuinely only kidding you Grant. No criticism meant or, I hope, implied.

Anyroadup, mikeingrose. I just measure the distance between the brackets of an SF and an SF1 and they're 19.5 cm between the outer edges (or I guess, 19cm between the inners.)

But I guess you know that.

Early 3C (just guessing)?

Harry,

Pretty sure the SF and 3C had the same width across the rear mounts. I will check, if my hump seat ever emerges from the courier's lost package system  >:(

Only type I can think of is a very early GT. Those had wider frrame.

Hans

I thought about that as well Hans, but then an original GT seat would have a metal base. A refabrication maybe? I could check if I don't forget on my GT.
