Help Needed Bosch Ignition Switch Early Twins

I've got most of one of these switches but I think I'm missing a clip to hold the parts together where the 'key' operates and maybe some trim parts. Has anyone a parts diagram for these switches and does anywhere sell the parts individually?

Thanks Norman

Norm,

If you mean the headlamp mounted switch, try any place specialising in 50/60s BMW, NSU or Horex stuff.  Most contemporary german bikes had identical switchgear, they may be able to supply individual parts.  At least more of them around than Lavs with those switches!

The early dash-mounted switch is more or less a compacted copy of the earlier type, has a similal type of key, ie, a dented nail, may find these in tractor supplies!  Most european tractors had Bosch electrics, and the ignition switch was quite popular/common.  Even my old Gutbrod mower has one of these!

Thanks Stefan/ Piet,

The exploded diagram on the Motorrad site will be a great help - I'll now work out what I am missing.
Bike is a 1969 'S' - can you advise what handlebar switches I need - I noticed some some for the BMW's which look familiar when looking through the parts list .

Cheers Norman

Norm,

The horn/dip switch is also identical, it was actually an integral part of the headlight(completely wired and connected) when that was sold as a spare!

Don't know who else used the starter button, the plastic mount may be a Laverda unique part.
