Hi
I am stuck and need your help.
Bought some time ago a "BOBA" sfc kit to my iota -82.
I have little trouble finding a stylish and clever solution for fastening the tank and saddle. With all the talented people out there, I'm sure ther is a successful solution.

(pictures say a thousand words)

Hi Johan,

not sure, but I think also Boba's tanks have a hanger on their rear end to strap them down with the original rubber, no?

For the seat, I suggest you mount some Z-shaped alloy clamps to the front (underside) of the seat and that clamp the seat to the tube that sits below the rear end of the tank. On the rear, I would make up a little sub-frame to mount the seat to the rear end of the frame.

Hi
The problem with SFC tank is that it is too far back to use the original frame rubberbrackets , with a longer rubber band its gets  wrong angle.
I know there are lots of easy solutions to the problem, it's just that I'm a little pedantic.
And I want the tank (and Saddle) is properly secured .

On the Montjuic I worked on I fitted Silentbloc rubbers at the rear, roughly where te racing numbers wuld fit. On the Monty there was a lash-up as standard as the front mount so I just used one of them.
I would fit 2 Silentblocs at the rear and 2 at the front under the seat padding. Are there any convenient lugs on the frame you could work with?
