optional for the RGS are the RGS Executive "clip ons". Higher and further back, very comfortable. Would also need to replace the rubber dash pad for the Executive dash pad, if you wanted to keep a rubber dash pad. Try Wolfgang Haerter, Columbia Car and Cycle, in Canada.

Wouldn't go back either.  Being a bit short in the arm, the stretch to the originals is a bit long for me, 1.75m in my socks...

The higher bars however, do put your(my) head in the turbulence area behind the screen, get quite a bit of buffeting at speed.  Either need to sit up further and stick your head into the constant blast, or pull your head in slightly to take advantage of the screen, but this does become a bit cramped after a while on long runs.  Currently looking into fitting a screen with a slight lip at the trailing edge.

Does fitting a tankbag help the buffeting?  Certainly makes a big difference in my experience.

Piet,

please let me know if you find a screen with a better windprotection. With my 1.92 m  I'm allways having troubles on the Autobahn with turbulence, even with the standard RGS-bars.

The executive bars are aproximately 8-10 cm higher than the stock RGS items.  The "handles" are in the same plane as the stanchion clip, so the extra height also places them quite a bit rearwards as well, something like 5-6 cm.  Makes all the difference!

Leon,
Going to take some time till I fit mine and assess it, will post the results.

Never felt any difference with a tank bag, Reggie.  Unless of course it was filled to the level of the screen edge, but then, I would be staring at the back of it! :D
