intake valves

Hello! I have an error on my Laverda 750 Formula - 99 so I was wondering if anyone can help me. I bent two intake valves on a cylinder and changed them and I tried spinning the motor and it worked, but then suddenly it took a stop in the engine and then we tested again and it went after we pulled the engine backwards and then after an hour was stopped again. Does anyone have know what it might be wrong.

Could be a 100 things and I doubt it's anything that has a common cause with an easy fix.  Im not normally a speculator but I'll hazard a guess that you might have got the valve timing out slightly. 1st time it ran but with some valve to piston interference, which you freed off and later after being revved it jammed up good and proper.

Thats purely a guess and nothing more, hopefully it's something less dramatic.
