The MV Agusta museum at Samarate, right next to Malpensa airport, Milan's main airport is well worth a visit. Check the opening hours - it's only open a couple of afternoons each week, from memory. All the 500cc world championship winning triples and fours are there, as well as many other amazing machines and a wide range of helicopters.

On top of the Timmelsjoch above Meran, there is a Museum with a huge collection of bikes.
