Also looking for original owners book or copy of the book

Regards

Hey Welcome to the family, what model Jota did you aquire, Sweden huh home of SAAB and blonde hair blue eyed glamours.

Any decent locksmith worth his salt should be able to work a key to suit the steering lock might cost you a few bucks but as he will need to pick it to remove it and then work a key to suit... if you get it out way simpler to replace it with a key to suit ...........if you can find someone to pick it then you can if you are careful drill the middle plug out and then you will be able to remove the lock to replace it.
The key was general a round head type here's a link to a lock and key.

Original owners manual depending on what language you are looking for they come up on fleabay from time to time but like anything Laverda these days are fetching good dough.

Hello and welcome,
Please support your Laverda dealers before supporting eBay.
We all share the passion of Laverda, we endeavour to manufacture and provide the best parts for your bike.

Steering locks are available
https://damclassicracing.com.au/60115999-steering-lock-length-44mm/

For anything that you can't find in the store please feel free to contact us and see if we can source it for you. https://damclassicracing.com.au/contact-us/

Hi, if you look closely at the top of the barrel you should have the key number stamped in the shiny bit. There's only a handful of keys so not difficult to find the 👉 one. If you fact get some Laverda mates to call and try there keys.
They are the small as suzuki keys from the 70s and 80s.
Also give Richard slater a ring.
Regards Andy

Aren't we talking about the Neiman lock?

Correct we are that indeed

Sorry Greg didn't realise you had the steering lock photos on your site, my bad oh and the guy on fleabay is a mate of mine actually so that twas reason for me sending the link and it was only meant to be as an example as he asked what the key looked like an I was too lazy to walk out into the shed.

Ok Greg I'm after a set of fork caps cant see them on your site but have sent you an email so I wont look anymore as you will have them correct  :o Also your contact section does not allow one to send a photo as an example of what one is chasing
Here is a pic of what I am after with 1.5 thread pitch but thanks will save me chasing I can go and ride now.

Hello Brett,
No worries on the lock... I noticed that your friend is charging nearly double the price compared to DAM Classic Racing.

Because of the course pitch required on the fork caps you might have me chasing an early Ducati part perhaps, but I'll do my best to source those for the fork tubes you've installed on your 3C.
If we can't source them then we can make a set with 1.5 pitch for you no problem.

You can send photos to DAM Classic Racing by replying to the email I sent to you from the Contact Us page yesterday (Sunday) or use the direct email address sales@damclassicracing.com.au found on the Contact Us page.

This thread has suddenly got hijacked from locks to fork caps so I think it's best that Brett and I continue this particular fork cap search off the forum and let the Keys and Manuals thread get back to Keys and Manuals.
