I've been looking at the compression shim stack from the Koni's I've been rebuilding, and there is on one shim and one spacer before the backing washer, which tells me they only have a low speed compression stack.
Has anybody ever added another spacer, shims before the backing washer in an attempt to build in a high speed compression stack for those square edged bumps? If so, what shims and how many did you use, and what thickness was the spacer?
I know Koni's have a reputation for being not a good shock, and some will say go and spend the money on a high quality shock. Please don't, that not the point of the exercise.....
Regards,
Greg
