Laverda 100 Blue

Hi,

I am starting my restoration of my little baby for the 2018 Moto Giro.  One of the smaller issues is matching the blue paint colour.  I have tried for days to find an name of the colour or a paint code, but so far no luck.

Please could anyone help?

I found the pre 1960 Fiat codes for dark blue 439, 456, 488 but couldn't find any color chips to compare.

Then I looked at the Alfa colors and thought Bluette, AR327, would look good but I ultimately selected
Dutch Blue, AR343, in acrylic enamel. Easy enough to find images of Alfa GTs with color references.

My '55 and one of the '58s have the frame, forks and such done with the dutch blue. One has grey body and fenders, the other cream.

I recently had an original '56 in the dark red/maroon and was able to match it with a period Fiat color Amarant , Fi 157, for the other '58

Make sure it's nice and flat.  Super shiny modern painjobs do not suit IMHO.
